The Company – Marketing & Events Assistant

Our client is one of the biggest players within the life science and biotechnology industry, looking to recruit a highly organised process-driven marketing and events assistant!

This role is already established in the team, with a clear strategy and responsibilities already set out you would be covering a range of broad marketing tasks whilst also managing events depending on the schedule during that time of year.

The Role – Marketing & Events Assistant

Reporting into the Marketing Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Organising a range of promotional events covering 40% of the yearly schedule
  • Creatively designing and producing marketing materials e.g. email signatures, LinkedIn artwork, web editing
  • Support in developing the company’s website
  • Liaising with the sales team and the global marketing team

The Requirements – Marketing & Events Assistant

In order to be considered for this position, you will ideally have:

  • Minimum 1 year marketing experience
  • Minimum 1 year event management experience
  • Copywriting skills & proof reading experience
  • Excellent organisation and admin skills
  • Design skills – use of InDesign

Web content management experience is desirable however not essential for this position.

You will be working in a challenging and stimulating environment, this would suit someone who drives towards a shared company goal.

Location & Working Structure

This position is 5 days in the office. Due to the location of the office, this position is best suited to those commuting from Rushden, Bedford, Wellingborough, Thrapston, Kettering, Northampton, Huntingdon, Peterborough, St Neots and Milton Keynes.
