The Company - Senior Brand and Communications Manager

Our client is a small software and technology start-up in their scale-up phase, based in Cambridge, with another office in Berkshire and 2 in the US. They’re seeking a Senior Brand and Communications Manager to join in a stand-alone role, focusing on creating and delivering the brand, communications and PR strategies to increase brand awareness and assist them grow into the European markets.

The Role and Requirements - Senior Brand and Communications Manager

Reporting into the COO, you’ll have full ownership of the marketing, communications and PR strategies, working closely with their Strategic Marketing Consultant and with the support of agencies.

You’ll have extensive experience in B2B, ideally from a software or technology background, able to liaise closely with the press and journalists, writing content, managing digital comms channels, build partnerships and relationships, manage stakeholders, and really own the product and brand awareness.

Experience in SEO, web analytics and Google AdWords would be ideal, along with a degree or relevant qualification in marketing, PR or communications.

This position is mostly remote, with ad-hoc once monthly attendance to the offices in Cambridge. Therefore, those based in surrounding areas of East Anglia would be best suited, such as but not limited to: Ely, Peterborough, Saffron Walden, Royston, St Neots, Huntingdon, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Bishops Stortford, and many more!
