Account Manager, Banbury -

Are you an established PR Account Manager looking to work across internationally renowned clients?

We are delighted to be partnered with a communications consultancy to find an experienced Account Manager to join their fast-growing team. Based in stunning Oxfordshire and established 15 years ago, their ethos is simple – Produce excellent work for excellent clients. They strive to build strong and lasting relationships with stakeholders, many employees and clients having been with the team from the very beginning.

They work closely with their diverse client-base, from start-ups to huge global conglomerates, across governmental organisations, non-profits and B2B businesses. Acting as an extension to their team and gaining invaluable insight through open and honest communication, they deliver powerful and impactful PR and Communication strategies.

Their agile team of experts across journalism, crisis and reputation management, International PR, public affairs and political consulting deliver scalable and bespoke communication programmes that support them in realising their strategic goals, through a deep understanding of their audiences.

The role – Account Manager

This newly created role, resulting from huge new business wins, will you see take owner ship of the management and client – service excellence, of one major account. Through your gift for storytelling and natural creative flair, you will bring the businesses to life. Working along-side the best in the industry, you will be able to fully immerse yourself in the company to formulate engaging social media campaigns, forward-thinking reputation management and robust crisis response strategies.

They offer great flexibility around hybrid working. You will only be required to attend the office 1 day a week, but with the option to go in as much as you need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initially working across one key account, you will deliver impactful communication strategies to help deliver the businesses strategic goals.
  • Develop direct crisis communication responses and expert reputation management strategies
  • Client facing – delivery client service excellence and developing strong, long-standing relationships with key clients
  • Utilising exemplary copywriting skills across press releases, media relations and a variety of written content platforms
  • Playing a key role in developing and presenting new business pitches

Key Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience in PR & Communications account management
  • Proven track in delivering PR and Comms strategies and client management
  • Exceptional Copywriting skills
  • Team management experience would be a bonus
  • Self-motivated and able to hit the ground running
